How to Measure for Your Right Size

for hassle-free jewelry selection!

Accurate Bracelet or Anklet Size:

Measure your wrist below the wrist bone (where you would normally wear your bracelet) using a flexible measuring tape or a strip of paper.  For an anklet, measure around your two little round ankle bones.

If using a plain strip of paper, mark your strip with a pen where the ends of the strip meets. Then measure the paper strip with a ruler.  If using a flexible measuring tape, wrap it around your wrist or anklet and tell us the number where it meets. This is your actual size.

Then let us know if you like your bracelets to fit snug, normal, or loose.  We will add the following to your exact wrist size per your preference: Snug – 1/4″ to 1/2 ”   Normal – 3/4″ to 1″ Loose fit – 1 1/4″

Accurate Cuff Size:

Measure your wrist  below the wrist bone (where you would normally wear your cuff) using a flexible measuring tape or strip of paper. If using a plain strip of paper, mark your strip with a pen where the ends of the strip meets.  Then measure the paper strip with a ruler. This is your exact wrist size.

Turn your arm sideways and measure the approximate width of your arm.  This gives us an idea of how small or large an opening to leave for your cuff so you can slide it sideways onto your arm, then rotate it into place.

Accurate Ring Size:

Follow the same instructions for finding your bracelet size, BUT measure your knuckle!  Why? Because your ring needs to be snug across the knuckle so that it doesn’t fall off when you wash your hands.

When my fingers swell from retaining water, I just move my ring over to the next finger down.  If your finger swells while wearing the ring, hold your hand up (like you’re wanting to answer a question in class) for a few minutes until you can remove the ring. You can also lather your finger with soap and water or lotion to ‘lubricate’ the knuckle for ring removal.

Most professional jewelry stores will have a ring sizing tool if you want to make sure before ordering.  We usually have our tool when we are at a local market and can measure you in person.

How to know what length of necklace to order:

Please use this diagram as a reference to let us know what length appeals to you.  Each necklace description usually details that design’s length.

Because everyone is different, you can also drape a tape measure around your neck to determine where these lengths will fall on you.

If you need it to be altered, please include this in the NOTE/Additional info section of the checkout form!
